Greca Laserlite 2000 & Laserlite 3000 Square-ribbed profile designed to match the Greca steel sheet profile. A popular choice for modern and contemporary Melbourne homes, offering an effective cover width of 760mm.
Trimdeck / 5-Rib Laserlite 2000 Only Ribbed profile with wider coverage and excellent water drainage. Designed to match Colorbond Trimdek steel roofing, making it the only Laserlite profile suitable for Trimdek roof replacements. Free Structural Assessment on Every Quote

We carry out a free structural assessment on every project covering roof pitch (5-degree minimum), purlin condition and spacing, fixing requirements for your wind load zone, and profile/colour recommendation based on your Melbourne patio's specific orientation and use. We do not subcontract.

How We Install Laserlite Polycarbonate Roofing in Melbourne

1

Free site assessment

We assess your roof pitch (minimum 5 degrees / 88mm fall per metre), purlin condition and spacing, wind load zone, and roof orientation. We confirm whether Laserlite 2000 or 3000 suits your north/west vs south/east facing orientation, and which profile (Corrugated, Greca, or Trimdeck) matches your existing structure. If you need to match an existing Colorbond Trimdek steel roof, we confirm this at this stage.

2

Product, colour & profile selection

We advise on Laserlite 2000 vs 3000 based on your specific orientation (Laserlite 3000 for north/west-facing — Comfort Cool delivers up to 50% better heat reduction; Laserlite 2000 for south/east-facing or Trimdeck profile matching). We bring physical colour samples and advise on light transmission levels for your preferred colour — including the 93%/Clear through to 19%/Grey Tint range within Laserlite 2000.

3

Installation to AS 4256.5-2006

Laserlite sheets are fixed to purlins at the manufacturer's specified fixing centres using the correct 12-14g screws with neoprene washers. Sheets are overlapped at the ridge and side laps to the Laserlite installation guide specification. We do not skip fixings or under-specify fasteners — every panel is installed to Australian Standard.

4

Flashing, infill & edge finishing

We install foam eave and ridge infill strips, ridge cappings, wall flashings, and gutter connections to ensure full weatherproofing at every edge. Foam infill strips at the ridge and eaves also reduce rain noise — relevant for enclosed outdoor rooms. All flashings are colour-matched to the sheet selection where possible.

5

Compliance certificate on completion

On completion we provide a written compliance certificate confirming AS 4256.5-2006 compliance and Building Regulations 2018 requirements. Our lifetime workmanship guarantee is issued at this point in writing.
